True & authentic faith

This is the testimony of our friends Greg & Stacey of their adoption journeys. Oh yes, I said journeys with an s. They have 4 biological children and 3 adopted children and they are in the process of adopting another child from Ukraine. With all the unrest on Ukranine, please keep them in your prayers. They are supposed to travel to get their daughter in May. Please pray that will happen with no problems. Thank you & God bless!

The Official Manning Both Hands Project Video

This video is a labor of love. It took 3 people and 3 programs numerous attempts a week and 2 1/2 days to get it completed! Please SHARE via any email or social media you have available! We want this video and the news of the Biblical command God gives us to care for widows and orphans to go as far and as wide as God will take it!

James 1:27  Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

It is NOT too late to give to the project! Please use this link to Give Now! http://bothhandsfoundation.org/matt-and-bethany-manning

Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we continue to wait for the phone to ring. We will have been officially waiting (our Log in date in China) 3 months on 3/10/2014 (Jackson's 5th bday by the way). CCAI, our adotption agency says it can take up to 8 months to be matched with a female with Cleft Lip/Palate. We are praying it won't be that long, but we know God has the timing perfectly worked out and He is sovereign, so we trust that He will let us go get her ASAP!

Both Hands Pictures

Here are some pictures from our fabulous Both Hands Project last Saturday 2/22/2014.

God blessed us so much! Great weather! Great Team! Everyone worked SO well together!
We had about 23 people from the Sycamore Church, as well as 5 adults and 1 child from Silk Hope Baptist church!28 volunteers in all!

We got all the projects we planned done, as well as some bonus items.
  • We replaced a fence
  • Painted the pump house
  • Pressure washed
  • Painted the bathroom vanity
  • Removed a window A/C unit and repaired the whole in the wall.
  • Fixed a glass door
  • Closed up a pet door
  • Repainted shutters, house numbers, and metal work.
  • Trimmed trees
  • Cleared yard debris
  • Planted a flower garden and a raised vegtable garden as a SURPRISE for Mrs. Maddox.

Mrs. Bessie Maddox was so pleased with all the work that was done! It will take some concerns off her mind for a while!

God was Glorified and we are thankful we were a part of it.
